CABLE TOP EATERY’S SUCCESS RESTS ON A DEDICATED TEAM

Di and Clay met at the Parade Café, an iconic Oriental Bay eatery, in 1998.

Parade Café was loved by many Wellingtonians from all walks of life. Everyone was made to feel welcome & it was renowned for its distinctive, relaxed family feel.

Service was whipped fast and always came with a side of smiles, thanks to the tightly-knit crew, led by Di Schollar and Clayton Rangi.

Twenty-three years later, the dynamic duo continues to embrace the role of mentoring & training many hospitality staff.

It is this all-inclusive team focus that lends a warm family vibe to both past and present cafe successes.

Di states, “Many staff return to work with us, in between study, travel, family commitments, or other jobs.  We have had the privilege of working alongside a truly unique tribe of individuals over the years.”

Cable Top Eatery has second-generation staff coming through the doors & it won’t be too far away before the mokopunas are putting on the aprons!
