BEST REVIEW EVER ... We visited cable top for breakfast Sunday 12th September, the food was fantastic best eggs bennie I've had in a long while, went very well with our drinks (brandy and lemonade and dry cider!!!) Could not fault the service, the two girls were very efficient. The venue was very clean as were the toilets. If the rest of the menu is as good as breakfast you are in for a treat. Don't forget, they have a great view. Will be back next time. Enjoy ... See MoreSee Less

Kids make the best adventurers, which is why we are running the KIDS RIDE FREE promotion in September, so they explore, discover, and be wowed by our candy red Cable Car, and the tunnel light shows! 🎇
So grab more of your whānau and friends, and come to one of Wellington’s quintessential icons, the Cable Car, and also enjoy the best view over Wellington - possibly biased!
There is no daily time limit on your ticket, so when you get to the Kelburn, make the most of your day out by smelling the new seasons' flowers at the Wellington Gardens (free entry), step back in time at the Cable Car Museum (free entry), or keep an eye on the skies at Space Place (paid entry) Wellington Museum 🌷✨
Cable Top Eatery is a great pitstop if your kids' tummies are growling, and Zealandia Ecosanctuary run a free shuttle from the top of the Cable Car to their Ecosanctuary (paid entry).
The limited special allows up to two children 15 years or under free entry, when travelling with a full fare-paying adult, and ends on Thu 30 September 2021. Tickets are to be purchased from the Lambton Quay ticket box, and valid for return tickets only.
- Face coverings are required for anyone 12 years of age and over.
- Remember to scan in using the NZ Covid Tracer app.
- Social distancing is required inside the Cable Car.

To celebrate @reomaori, we have the heitiki logo and colours showing in our top tunnel during the week.
The kanohi (face) represents the evolving face of Aotearoa, and the notions of pride and strength. The arero (tongue) represents the elements of revitalisation: status, critical awareness, acquisition, use and corpus. ❤️💗🧡💛💚💙
